Gemotions

The morning sun cast long shadows across the office, highlighting dust motes dancing in the air. Richard leaned back in his chair, feeling the cool leather against his back. He'd even brought in a thermos of his favorite homemade coffee, a rich, dark brew that filled the air with its aroma. He smiled to himself.

His replacement, a young man named Ben, entered the office looking flustered. Richard stood, extending a hand.

“Ben, good to meet you! Come on in, I've organized everything to get you started quickly. I'm excited to help you become a pro here.”

Richard felt the tension completely drain away.
